Some of our work.
Mantle.
CRM and workflow platform for Australian risk-insurance advisers.
The situation
An adviser's practice runs on documents. Certificates of currency, super statements, tax returns, meeting notes, statements of advice. Every client has a folder of them; every folder has a spreadsheet next to it holding the numbers that matter. Nobody but the adviser knows where anything lives, and the compliance load — licensee pre-vets, alteration requests, renewal chases — sits on top of that.
What we built
A single system holding every client, policy, meeting and file. Extraction pulls structure out of every incoming PDF. Follow-up emails and 13-section statements of advice draft from the client's own file. A pre-flight gate catches missing inputs before a document goes out. Gmail integration threads replies back to the client record automatically.
What changed
Work that used to sit in one person's head and their inbox now sits in a system the whole practice can see. New client onboarding is a signed profile link, not a paper form. Statements of advice draft in minutes with the adviser reading rather than writing. Compliance checks that used to be manual are now a gate.
Wallard.
Software for mechanics.
The situation
[TO CONFIRM — describe the day-to-day of a mechanic's shop before Wallard. What was the manual work? Where were the numbers kept? Who kept them?]
What we built
[TO CONFIRM — a paragraph on what Wallard does, at a level a stranger would understand. Job tracking? Parts inventory? Customer records? All of the above?]
What changed
[TO CONFIRM — describe the change qualitatively. What was hard before, what's easy now.]
Maximiser.
Data and projections platform for an FMCG sales operation.
The situation
FMCG companies pay a lot for the enterprise data tools that most of them can't get value from — expensive dashboards, expensive projections, expensive consultants to run them. The sales team wanted a live view of performance and a forward projection that reflected the real business, not a template drawn up for someone else's operation.
What we built
A projections engine wired to live data from platforms that were never designed to talk to each other. A dashboard that shows the state of the business now and the forward view side by side. Everything reflects the actual sales operation — not a generic FMCG template.
What changed
The team stopped paying enterprise money for tools that solved half the problem. The projections that used to live in one analyst's spreadsheet are now available to anyone who needs them, updated live. Decisions that used to wait for a quarterly report now happen against a current view.
Trackpay.
Reconciles commission payments that used to be checked by hand.
The situation
Risk advisers are paid commission by insurers on every policy, at multiple rates (upfront, renewal, alteration) and on a rolling schedule. Reconciling what came in against what should have come in is a slow, error-prone spreadsheet job — and errors add up over a year.
What we built
An ingest layer for every insurer's commission statement, in whatever format they send it. A reconciler that matches each payment against the expected amount for each policy, at each rate. Anything that doesn't match surfaces as a discrepancy for review — the adviser only sees the exceptions.
What changed
Commission reconciliation that was a manual spreadsheet job now runs automatically in the background. Only the discrepancies surface for the adviser to review. Errors that would have been missed at the row level get caught — the adviser stops leaving money on the table because nobody had time to check.
Hater Picks.
[TO CONFIRM - one-line tag on what Hater Picks is and who it's for.]
The situation
[TO CONFIRM - the pain that existed before Hater Picks.]
What we built
[TO CONFIRM - one paragraph on what Hater Picks does.]
What changed
[TO CONFIRM - the outcome.]
